L Tommo, me and some mates used to go to Spurs in those days, but used to go to away games a lot. I still remember looking through the fixture list and us deciding we would go to the home game with Burnley (won 3-0, if I remember rightly) but skip the Bristol Rovers game and save our pennies for another match :d'oh!
Luckily, there were highlights on Match Of The Day, but was still gutted not to have actually been there. It was Colin Lee's debut, wasn't it ? What a start !!!

According to the brain donors who masquerade as bosses at our office, there's no limit to how many HP books you have to take out with you tomorrow.
Is there any official word to clarify exactly how many we are obliged to take with us tomorrow?

Take out whatever they tell you to take, take your time and bring whatever back.
Our drivers are takeing ours.
Apparently there's hardback and softback versions of them.
Whatever happens,it will be one f**k up anyway.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

I know what you mean, pistol - I got bitten yesterday, and much as I would like to return to work tomorrow, especially as it is my day off today, I just don't feel up to it - it breaks my heart to think that as my colleagues are sweating and struggling with HP ( maybe in the early morning sun, maybe in the pissing down rain ), I'll be tucked up in bed, snoring my box off....still that is what fate has chosen for me & we all have our crosses to bear.
I don't suppose your mouth bleeds every 28 days, does it?

Mail delivery; those that can, do, those that can't, MANAGE!

Don't know why all the idiots have ordered them over the internet, our local supermarket is knocking them out for £4.99 tomorrow morning.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

And if the general public opinion of us is as low as I've seen. Why bother ordering and using us to deliver it to you.
Surely if royal mail, and more importantly, the postmen and women, are inept, lazy untrustworthy layabouts. You'd make damn sure your precious little book was sent through one of our allegedly far superior conpetitors.
I hope all those penis munchers who were berating us so much on the bbc website aren't in when there book arrives tomorrow. Then have to go into town when it's pissing it down to pick it up. Then fall over getting into their car, crack their head open on the door and watch as bllod gushes out of their forehead and soaks through the packaging staining their oh so important book.

Not that I'm bitter or anything
