Dont take the job!
For gods sake get out now while youre still alive.
Once youre in there no way out. FACT.
get a grip if you dont like it tell them to piss off life is to short.
Then again, why doesn't Pix piss off if it's sooo bad? I suppose it's easy to whine and make out to an outsider that it's so bad when you're on regular wages with a pension, paid sick A/L etc etc.....

Good luck mate, on 25 hours here. There is every likelihood tons of overtime available, i doubt full time hours will be on the cards but overtime yeah, chances are any overtime will be like mine you'll get asked in on your day off. Going full time however i don't know chances are your DO is full of full timers and RM is going for a lot more PTimers at the moment.

Thanks to those of you who have provided useful comments and information. It may have escaped some peoples notice but there is a recession on. I have 3 jobs offers on the table. This one pays the least but appeals to me more than the others (ie working 12 hour nights) so it is not any easy decision, that is why I'm trying to obtain as much information as I can.

Seniority is basically worked in order you joined the company. You will come across many fossils that have been at your office since the dawn of time and they will probably be on page one. Near the top. You will be on page 6 or 7. At the bottom. They get the good jobs, you will get the sh1t.Don't bother arguing about it because its all part of the job. Accept it.
