I've heard enough! If this deal sticks I'm off. I only work 20 hrs a week anyway and therefore don't earn a lot and yet it seems to be P/T delivery staff who are taking the biggest hit. I never fancied giving up the bike for a jumped up supermarket trolley anyway and my dom is a bonus obsessed bully. Good luck guys. You're lions led by donkeys! :Applause

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

£400 on ratification of the deal.

£1000 in 3 parts as part of the transformation but its not definite you would get it this year it depends when you hit the triggers.

The payment of £1,000 (pro rata for part time employees) consisting of 3 lump sums will be paid as follows.
£200 will be paid to everyone in the delivery unit on deployment of their first non walk sequencing revision.
£600 will be paid to everyone in the delivery unit on deployment of the walk sequencing revision.
£200 will be paid to everyone in the delivery unit when the Walk Sequencing revision has been implemented, and objectives achieved in line with the local agreement and no later than the end of the 6 week bedding in period

What is the point of doing a non walking revision, only to have to upgrade it to a walk sequenced revision ??? Surely you wouldnt waste time doing that and just go straight to a walk sequenced revision ??????

Ah! Thereby hangs a tale.

Does anyone remember The Way Forward agreement - you know the one - tools for the job blah blah blah, drop boxes no problem blah blah blah - just sign the agreement and all will be yours my son - well as we all know after the agreement was signed old Leighton said - "lets not wait for the tools for the job lets just crack on" - well guess what, we are still waiting for those very tools.

Nothing will be agreed until everything is agreed - was that not the cry for the continued secrecy - well we have no revision tools and no workshops until after the deal has been agreed - so lets just not agree and leave things as they are - we don't expect much and we sure as hell don't get it.

I would rather vote NO and not get these promised baubles than vote YES and not get these promised baubles.

Am I right that p/t posties will be getting pro rata payment for DtoD?. How can that be fair if p/t and f/t deliver the same amount? It would be approx. £12 per week for delivering up to 6 items per week to 500+ houses. If this true you can guarantee not one p/t postie will vote yes!

Thankyou for posting this as I to was unable to download the agreement from the CWU website. With 600 calls I earn £30 per week D2D money,I thought i'd be £10 a week worse of with the £20 D2D supplement,I had'nt realised the supplement was ALSO instead of the early shift allowance
So I'm gonna vote yes to a £28 a week reduction am I ? :no no

DTD payment has gone under the proposed agreement, it will cease to exist

Shift allowance for shifts starting 4.01 am onwards also cease to exist.

The money from the above is redeployed into a new supplement to basic pay, as its a basic pay supplement it is based on hours worked just like basic pay is based on hours worked.

The supplement is for all that work in the D.O, therefore the existing pool of money is being shared out more widely.

My OH is p/t and delivers around 700 Door to Doors. Some of the posties in the office have only 200 ish, so why would he vote for a pay cut?
