Isn't there a case where you can go to a local office in those situations where it's over 3 miles to your DO and sign in there? Or is that just for situations involving extreme weather? When we had all that snow earlier in the year a few posties had to do that where they lived well outside the city. My dad who is a postie walks into work every day which is over 3 miles cos he's mad a likes the walk in for some reason but he had to argue the toss with the lino about the distance being over 3 miles when he wouldn't come in because it was too dangerous to walk . Prick of a lino got a map out and a rule to measure the distance as well .

Yes and I will not go into what happened when it snowed.It still makes me mad.

Got a motorbike,but in the winter its bloody freezing down the motorway even with thermals
