Saving Full Time jobs by getting rid of thousands-how does that work then ? Like all the jobs the CWU saved in BT ?
I'll just bet we could name the jobs they will absolutely be saving - at least for the time being.

A Positive Future for Royal Mail
In the current financial climate, many workers - particularly in the public sector - are facing pay freezes, compulsory redundancies and even, in the case of Unite members at British Airways, the prospect of pay cuts, we feel that the proposed deal for our Royal Mail members compares extremely well.

Are they really that stupid that they don't see the current deal they have for us contains a pay cut? Are they really that stupid? What hypocrites they are saying British Airways have the prospect of pay cuts!
They will pay a heavy price when Royal Mail realises just how big the mass exodus of members will be.
Those CWU officials on full-time release, I reckon their days are numbered, they will soon have to walk a few miles in our shoes. And perhaps, that won't be such a bad thing. :evil/mad

It begs the question - how come they are leaders of a large trade union and you are not? How much stupider must you be?
Save it, mate. Your heroes have scored an incredible own goal, I suppose it all really started when Laurel & Hardy, Hayes & Ward to you, uttered the words the gangsters running Royal Mail wanted, prayed even, to hear. "We want to be at the heart of change." "We understand the need for modernisation." And other such claptrap.
Now look at us, thanks to the CWU the anthem for postal workers should be, "Bend me, shape me, any way you want me, as long as you can shaft me, it's alright." :evil/mad

Perhaps stupid is the wrong word to describe them. Try Inept, Ignorant, Self serving , Spineless, Pathetic maybe Useless then again Egotistical there are lots of words to describe them some might stoop as low as to say Bought or Corrupt, but not me..........................STUPID describes their description of the Agreement.

Shame on those that negotiated worse conditions for me than Royal Mail imposed by Executive action.
Shame on those who negotiated a pay cut for the majority of staff.
Shame on those that negotiated pro rata for D2D.
Shame on those who negotiated 3pm last letter on a Saturday.
Shame on those that negotiated no cap to D2D.
Shame on those who negotiated No maximum delivery span.
Well said, brother. :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause
