Do part-timers get a reduction as well or are our hours to remain as before?

Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

Nothing to do with driving allowances, just early shift allowance....

Re: THE DEAL FOR DELIVERIES?
So part timer on 25 hour week will be on...
£234.48 per week instead of £217.26
Increase of £895.44 per year
I think!

Re: THE DEAL FOR DELIVERIES?
Here's a question that I can't get an answer to.
Early shift allowance to be absorbed into delivery supplement. This is early shift from The Way Forward agreement, Early shift (starts between 0401-0500) Early shift (starts between 0501-0530) = We've absorbed that, those of us who were getting it.
There are a number of people getting Grandfather rights for the old Dawn shift (starts between 0201-0400), the new agreement doesn't say anything about Dawn shift allowance, it definitely mentions Early shift allowance. Are the people who currently get Dawn shift allowance going to keep it or are they taking a huge paycut if they do D2D as well?
I think I know the answer sadly, but I would like a definitive answer, anyone out there.

Good:
More chances of having Saturdays off.
Bad
Saturdays to be treated as a normal day so later finishes
Possibility of day specific D2Ds including Saturdays (100% call rate)

Re: THE DEAL FOR DELIVERIES?
Cannot uderstand what (Number 7 No private cars on deliver has got to do with this agreement. I Know one thing all you suckers can see ££££ signs already, your halfway to the shops already. if you vote yes to this, you need your heads testing and you will get what you deserve later on, that's when the moaning will start when you have spent up.........a Vext Jenny...cantbelieveit's... wrote:Just to confirm the deal for deliveries is as follows:
(Hope this is right guys, if not please amend)
Trying to put it as easy to understand for members without them having to read the whole agreement.
1) No cap on d2d's.
2) 1 hour off present working week, to 39 hours a week.
3) Pay rise of 2% 1st year, 1.4% 2nd year and 3.5% 3rd year.
4) £20.60 for d2d's but including any allowances e.g early shift, driving.
5) bonuses of £400 when revision is done in office, £536 in 2011 and £536 in 2012. Also a £1000 bonus spread as £200 straight away, £600 when walk sequencing machine are being used in your office and a further £200 when 100% of office have walk sequencing machines.
6) 3 hour 30 minute delivery spans to finish with delivery spans being agreed locally.
7) No private cars on delivery.
Any more guys??

Re: THE DEAL FOR DELIVERIES?
The hour off work is only referential to delivery staff when walk sequencing is introduced in 2011- it doesn't say too much about MCs I presume that is immediately on agreement.
This agreement needs to be carefully looked at because there are a number of issues which haven't been addressed.
Delivery Spans - open ended
Saturdays - open ended - there is no sign of this Saturday matrix for 1 in four off
Pay - most delivery officers will take a cut because of D2D
Lump Sums - when not part of the Colleague Share, which is already ours by right, the other sums are dependent on the introduction and successful deployment of working practices WHICH MAY NEVER HAPPEN
Revision Tools - sight unseen
There are even more issues being left to local agreement with revision tool workshops for local reps - so why do we need all this release time when in fact it is the local rep who will be dealing with the local issues?
