haha
conditions that make sure that part timers get worked as hard as full timers, i'd go payless for a week if it meant the 2 managers sons in my office which are part time were made to work even there whole 25 hours a week
Yes because part timers should work as hard as full timers despite getting paid less. Genius.

part timers get paid less because they work less hours not by the amount of work they are doing in the time they are working, am getting a bit sick of all the touchy part-timers on here thinking they are so hard done by cos they get less money yet do 10-20 hours less a week, if you don't like it get another job but make sure its full-time i.e at least 38.5 hours a week

you are the exception then daz, you chose to go part-time by the sounds of it and accept your gonna have less pay than full-timers, what gets me is the part-timers who moan there not payed as much as full-timers and therefore think they shouldn't work as hard when they are working, less hours doesn't mean less work done in relation to the time worked

The part timers may be full timers before long=when the full timers wise up to the new deal .........they may leave............in droves.

I think some of the p timers are annoyed because RM will not move them up to f time.
They feel they are doing the same work or more than some f timers because they are having to work over 40 hours in order to get a decent wage.
The major thing to remember is that we are all in this mess together and are all getting screwed.
Unity is strenght stay strong.

In my experience it is the full-timers who are responsible for the mess we are in, by coming in early, working for free, then running round, not having their breaks etc. Years of piss-taking by full-timers has ruined the job for everybody. It just amuses me when ft's moan their heads off about pt's not pulling their weight eg not helping out on IPS etc. They aren't being paid to do it! Don't blame them for RM's policies!

And I am a FULL TIMER.

so you have worked to rule everyday you have been working at rm since you started????
We all knew that this was happening years ago, but noone did anything to stop it, just carried on spending the share in success/colleague share that we got once a year. and even when the lapsing/absoption came in people still carried on running round and taking shortcuts. And even when the new deal gets accepted, and it will get acccepted, people will still carry on the same way they have for years just to make a few lousy minutes.
Before you all jump on me about saying it will get accepted look at the maths, this site gives the opinions of best a few thousand of the workforce and yet the best part of 70'000 will be asked to vote, throw in £22 extra a week and a £400 lump sum (which will be at the top of the page of the the agreement) and we will be all signed up to this new agreement before we know it
