We did it for summer, but sacked it off weeks and weeks ago.

Everyone just decided to complete their round and then cut off the lapsing, after 3 days of that summer savings was no more.

Ahebban,is right in my opinion, that lapsing and absorption, are entirely different.
Unforunately reps have been slow on the uptake with this, and have been brainwashed by
management, using the 'where time permits' line.
Don't just accept it,remember all phases of the P@M agreement have to be adhered to,locally
we have had to register several disagreements to put a stop to this.
This is not a London issue,it's a case of failing to honour elements of the P@M agreement, but
more importantly completely ignoring the industrial relations framework.
Remember the union needs you to make a stand as much as we need them to support us.
