they cant then just sack you or make you redundant to accomdate people doing the same job on a lower wage.
they can take people on on the new wage.
Without a Union, they'll try anything,
by law, they have to honour your currant contract and pay for 2 years, after that the ball is in their court, they will either keep us on the same money until they catch up, i. e no payrises for several years or we go down to their wages
Is there any raisin for that? :Very Happy
There would be sour grapes if they didn't. :Very Happy
I'm so crushed I feel like a wine :wave

This is why Mandelson, the Liebour government, the liberals, the Tories, Crozier and the RM board of directors, want to smash the CWU once and for all, it is the major fly in the ointment for the privateers circling us like vultures.

We must not allow this to happen, we must frustrate that gang of vicious lunatics determined to treat us like shyte.

Can't see how, we're pretty much at full stretch at the moment,
There's no margin for error at the moment, one bloke goes off sick 5 have to cover and they end up being unable to complete they're own walks!
minimum pay, no sick-pay, only 4 week's leave,

We are the surfs & they are the masters....

Serfs - unless we all have to go and ride the waves dude.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

I think they would attack the uso for a number of years before attacking wage rates, it will be easier for them. The poor public will have 2 deliveries a week to stomach.

That`s what all those in charge of any big business want, all workers rights dumped, minimum wages, workhouses for the poor, all wrapped up in the wonderful phrase of "modernisation".

Bollocks, its simply a ploy to get us all back to a Dickensian time when the workers had sod all & no hope of ever getting any further up any ladder.

We are the surfs & they are the masters....

:lfo :cfo :mfo
common practice in hospitals & big Labour Councils like Birmingham - Nicholas Ridley split up and outsourced everything in the 80' s , it was to neutralize COHSE or NUPE - now UNISON ? - apparently " it stopped all the strikes "

ended up with crap firms like Carillion , Service Team etc and MRSA :arrrghhh

TNT has said that it isn`t interested in buying Royal Mail unless Govt passes legislation outlawing postal workers from
taking strike action.

I believe with the Prison Service - the officers all go sick
