I will continue striking as the option of being walked all over by an uncaring employer is not the way forward.
The more solid the strike the more likely those at the top will be forced to listen.

Not only will I be striking, but i will be down on the picket line too!! :mfo
:cuppa At my office, the management have a habit of telling us full timers one thing, and then the a/g(part timers) another. Just one example, in work time learnings, they tell us full timers that we have to spend 1 hr and half to throw in part time duties. This Hour and half is through the duration of the time when everyone else is sorting. Once that time is up, we stop throwing in these rounds, this is what the management tell us to do.
Yet, having been into a work time learning where I was the only full timer present and the rest of the people there were part timers, the manager in question told them that us full timers were lazy(and pointed me out as being really lazy too), and he told them that it was the full timers responsibility to make sure that the duties these part timers were covering were thrown in, packets sorted out and even the redirections too. Occasionally, and more often than not, they wanted these duties bagging up for the a/g's too. :no no
In terms of some of these union members who cross the picket line, one fellow from the same office told our union rep that he would come out of the union if these picket crossers weren't thrown out of the union. :Boo hoo! The very next day, he crossed the picket line, and when he did cross, he had his hood up in the hope that he wouldn't get seen. He approached the union rep the day after saying he was coming out of union as the rep didn't do what had been asked of him by throwing the picket crossers out!! The guy is a hypocrite :wave :so there
And yet, its people like him who, if the union gets its way, will reap the benefits, but won't have the decency to shake the hands of those of us who have put our jobs on the line to save their arses. We won't even get a thanks!! :cfo
Peace out!!
You're so ugly, not even a sniper would take you out!!
Is there a better gift than freedom?? 'No!' I hear the flapping birds say from above...
