All the national officers regulaly visit offices through out the country, I know that they also attend picket lines and attend AGM meetings. All you need to do is request via your branch. However there are 1500 different offices throughout the UK and it is impossible to visit all of them especially in times of disputes and ballots as they will not be allowed in.

In London myself and the other divisional reps have been banned from holding meetings in the workplace since June but that does not stop us we have the members meetings outside during the members meal relief or before they start.

In any case with two meetings with Royal Mail this week and a postal execuitve and 3 days next week plus the labour party conference their diaries are pretty full trying to resolve issues which effect the 130 000 postal workers.

Thats why offices are first and foremost reprsented by a branch sturcture which should be the first port of call for meetings, then divisonal and pec involvement. However if your office wants a visit from any of them then writie in and they will ensure they visit if its an urgent visit then they will ask a pec member to visit however if you want them personally to visit then you have to recognise that they are quite busy at the moment and in dave"s case he has some major personal family issues as well .

Dunno why you would ever want him down....have you heard him...!! No charisma,no personality...and he doesn't exactly inspire or put a fire in your belly that would make you want to take on the world...!! Whenever I've seen him......he just looks as if he doesn't wanna be there..!! Should never have got rid of Keggie....!!!

Wow! I never thought I'd come across anyone who would like to see Keggie back! I know that things are bad now. But surely they aren't THAT bad yet, are they?

What we really need, is for someone to stand against them, so we can "do a Keggie" again. Surely there's someone out there, with suitable experience (Area or Div. Rep), who'd be willing to take on the job. Please!
