That's not strictly true. We did get a better deal than the one we were offered before the 2007 Strike. But you're right, that it was very little to gain, after loosing so much. But you've got the ones who voted for the Pay and Modernisation Agreement to thank for that. I was prepared to fight on, in the hope of getting something better. As were the majority of people who came on here at the time.seeker019 wrote:Yeah, Just like the last strike, we lost money then gained nothing until 'WE' voted in this rubbish Flexabilityghostgirl wrote:OUT....lets show RM we mean business!!!!

I wish I knew! It's always seemed strange to me too. We're all part of RMG, so why don't we all have the same pay and conditions?smok3y666 wrote:How come Parcelfarce is never included in anything? It's run just as s**t as the postal side. Oh, then again the majority of the morons at our depot can't even stick to a "work to rule" agreement.

I was under the impression that a lot of PF are owner-drivers so that naturally weakens any Union influence unfortunately.andy2007 wrote:I wish I knew! It's always seemed strange to me too. I can't speak for other depots but we definately have more employee's than owner drivers. I think there may be around 8 owner drivers and maybe 25 employee's plus managers etc....

SAME HERE. I will be voting yes, so will my friends who do the job properly, but im worried that too many people are so short sited that they will vote no just to save a days wages. its our job to get on these peoples cases and make sure they can see the doom for the future before they tick a box.smok3y666 wrote:Oh, then again the majority of the morons at our depot can't even stick to a "work to rule" agreement.
lets also hope that the union dont recomend another yes vote to rm's plans which ucked us over the last time.
