Pegasus is OFF in your office.

Area Reps have been told to withdraw. If that management stooge suggests anything else, tell him to get f***D! ;liar

My info on pegasus is that HQ tried for a aggrement with RML but RML didnt want to know.

CWU HQ then requested branches/Area delivery reps to achive area/local aggrements based on the proposal CWU wanted but RML turned down.

The aggrement for my patch is based on what CWU hq tried to get RML to accept.

Nobody forces the membership to vote in pegasus revisions. My D.O must be one of the lucky ones that has emerged realtively unscathed from pegasus !!!!

but what if your union hierarchy don't want your members to have a vote and are complicit with RM management and lapdog reps in trying to push a revision through regardless?

No experience of that the area aggrement says a vote should take place but however it dosent say what happens if a no vote was to be returned time and time again.

The question is are those voting no, voting no due to the detail of their revision or voting no to the whole pegasus concept irrspective of what the revision proposes to change?

Not even been a vote yet. 6 town walks were tested with managers in tow. All 6 averaged 1 hour plus too big. We wanted Pegasus running at 2 hours 15 mins to compensate. Management completely at sea over their program....now as a sop running it at 2 hours 45 mins and wanting our opinions....!

We are not in the business of opinions...we are in the business of testing them. Once tested again they are still going to be 30 minutes, on average, too big. There will only be a vote when it is run at 2 hours 15 mins 'cos that is what will make the system realistic....and create about 12 duties in the process...

Ours is the only office that bothered to challenge the area agreed figures....if some of the offices in our area had followed our lead they would not be in such a pitiful state...did you, by any chance, test any of your walks, "doing the job safely", before accepting it into your office?

The office i come from has had Pegasus done on it,what a cock up we now have more O/T being booked because our DIM and i mean that most sincerly folks has got a one tracked mind almost like a mantra he chimes it all the time, the rounds are bigger the frames are massive packets coming out of your ears, delivery staff being threatened all the time, managers at the end of their tether, staff accidents up,sick up.Walks being changed to P/T from F/T deliverys, more failed walks everyday, walks being halved and added to other walks the list is endless.
I did hear a debate on the radio the other day where a proffesser said that Royal Fail had got it's sums wrong he said what Pegasus had been set at was not possible,he said that the Post Person would only be able to keep that sort of pace up if'
A;They were not carrying anything.
B:The postie was on even ground.
C:Had good foot wear.
He stated that R/M had failed on all accounts they had failed to look at the Health and safety aspect of the job the damage to the post persons skeleton and muscle damage that would come about doing the job at that pace,he rather thought that R/M should try and be realistic.

Yeah Big Daz, but will they take any notice of him?

Remember he was the one bragging on how well it went into his own office with only one walk being tested..........
