Fine, but this includes a bit in which they mention Sunday redeliveries and evening deliveries!
My office struggles for staff Mon - Sat never mind Sundays! As for the evening part, I guess that'll mean the people who don't cut off and are going out with about 20 bags?
Or are they just prepping us for the future?
At my office there will be two reserves (me being one of them ) who will be working from 11am - 7pm on the two week run up to Christmas - delivering all the specials in the morning, general dogs body round the office/finishing deliveries where people have cut off, then delivering packets up till 7pm. Not sure if we're offering the Sunday re-deliveries yet.
I'm really not looking forward to it.
PS. our red things arrived today and we have 4 days to deliver them.

It's basically a card infroming everyone that the callers will be open later than ususal and that they are doing their best to get all the mail out on time.

Why didn t RM do a deal with a company sending out mailsort and have this printed on the backs of the envelopes.Or inserted in one of the flats or something like that. Waste of money. There is no chance that all the mail and packets will be delivered. FACT.

Sending them D2D would mean the loss of 5p per address for the leaflet it replaced times 28,000,000 addresses equals £1,4000,000 which will be more than a few posties claiming 2.5 hours overtime. Yes, they should have been D2D so that we were paid for them but Mailsort3 means most were delivered for nothing.

Bugger me you saying we get paid 1.67p and RM get 3.33p per item, thats a very healthy profit margin. Whatever cost them lots to get them delivered in my DO
But it is a very cheap method of advertising, for example I could cover my entire postcode for about £1000 which in advertising terms is nothing. It's a shame that they take so much for themselves and yet complain that they can't afford to give us an increase.
