Collections collect PF from post offices. Dimensions are up to 3x1m or 1.5x1.5, 30kg max.
For a RM parcel (1st, 2nd, 48hrT etc) it's basically got to fit into a york. Max 20kg.
I refuse parcels all the time from post offices for being too big for a york, (usually 48hrT returns) because they should be PF. Which seems daft because I collect PF anyway.
If it's over 20kg and you're on your own and don't feel ok taking it, don't. Go back to your manager/or ring them and tell them it's a 2 man lift, they have to figure it out then. We have 6 full time collection duties, 10 part time and we have 4 trollies between them all. A few can't do that weight so just tell the manager when they get back and he has to sort it out.
Your back is more important that your manager's bonuses.

Re: Postie to Parcelforce?
Businesses can send Tracked items up to 30Kg, they have to send a minimum of 1,000 items per year (works out about a minimum of 3 items per day) and that includes Tracked Returns.Beanyjazz wrote: ↑Today, 08:50Collections collect PF from post offices. Dimensions are up to 3x1m or 1.5x1.5, 30kg max.
