Thanks for all the responses on here but our union must communicate in a more fashionable manner for all of us all they do youtube stuff and email and have a website. So why can't they do basic communication to it's members who pay week in and week out?
Why don't you just leave if your not happy.
Because its their union
And they are not being represented

Here's how. You will need to write a resolution to your branch. You will have to wait for a response. The branch committee will decide if the resolution is legitimate. Then you will have to wait for a branch meeting. If you get this far you will then to have enough support at the branch meeting to get the resolution through. In the meantime the real world continues and paying members are getting smashed to pieces.

So what you are saying is that there's no real way to challenge except with harsh words, seeing as how you and your friends seem to have the harsh words covered what do workers who want real change do.
This is what i mean trams, by this time you, and your friends from whatever banner you like too fly under, should have organised yourselves into something resembling more than a bunch of mumbling loons. You've been terrorising workers for years with nothing of substance but plenty of words, hurry up and organise yourself into something resembling a alternative and maybe i will see some positive change before i pop my clogs.

That's like saying that 6000 non driving staff means that there are only a few per office - not the case.
Some offices have 100% staff that drive, others have 20, 30 even 40 staff who don't.
Some offices are 100% full time already.
