We should be asking the people that have low letterboxes why they don't also put their doorbells 20 cm off the ground too. If they think having a letterbox on the floor is a good idea then they might as well stick their ding dong bell there too.

How the heck did it ever happen that letterboxes get put in such a ridiculous place.

Royal Mail themselves should be telling their staff not to deliver to low letterboxes as well as sending managers to those homes to tell them to get a letterbox that is suitable for human use and that they will have to collect their mail until they have done so.

Why has it taken the CWU and Royal Mail years to get nowhere with this!!!!! What are they both doing!

A disgrace this was ever allowed in the 1st place - obviously H&S took second place to some perceived weird aesthetic appeal

:Applause :Applause :Applause But RM pay lip service to H&S they do not have the guts for that

Both of them are a complete joke

If you struggle to get down to a low letter box then you dont have to. But you do need to knock or ring door bell. That way you can say you have attempted delivery. If you just walk by and are caught by ring doorbell or cctv the management can have you in for wilful delay.

What a delight to come back from my day off to find a customer has a new door. I know they'll have spent exactly zero seconds considering the person that has to prostrate themself to use their letterbox, so I'll just interpret it as an unwitting rather than conscious FU :so there
Any Questions?
Yeah, how do I get out of this chickenshit outfit?
