Not for every week you have off.
1st absence, all paid.
2nd absence, first two days off unpaid.
3rd absence, first four days unpaid.
All other absences, first three days unpaid.

How does it work if you work less than 5 days a week? What if you only work 3 or 4 days?
If you work 3 days a week and you are off 3 times, do you owe them a days pay?
Presumably the same rules apply, first 4 days of your absence unpaid so 1st week nothing followed by 2nd week only 2 days pay if you're still off and on a 3 day week.

I believe the 2 days only applies to people on a 5 day week.

What it actually is is 40% of your pay (for the first week of a second absence in a twelve month period) is paid at Reduced Occupational Sick Pay (ROSP) rate, the rest of your wage is paid at normal rate.

See the joint statement.
