Just photograph the door. We haven’t got time to frame perfect portraits of each item.
Then you get conduct for failing delivery duh.
Well just make sure you leave a foot in the door so you can get the perfect picture before they close it.

What I don't understand is retail customers have apparently complained about none compliance but RM have been encouraging that by effectively by only giving you 💯 each day if you clear every Tracked including signed forms, you really couldn't make it up.

Although I've no idea how our retail customers know if something unreadable has been done by the customer or not, unless they think every customer gives a perfect signature??

It's the way it should always have been, stops you taking a photo and accidentally posting it.
Doesn't stop the recipient accidentally slamming the door in your face though does it?
You don't hand the item over until they've signed.
Not rocket science this job is it.😂😂
Some people like to think it is akin to brain surgery or something :chuckle

As mentioned. Just don’t hand it over until you get the photo. It isn’t difficult, but like any change in this job, posties will moan and whinge.

Who cares about getting 100%? I certainly don't.

WTF is this cr*p. Only found out today when scannned a parcel , signiture required customer signs takes parcel and shuts the door , i push enter then the picture required comes up so i just take a picture of the door . Who comes up with this rubbish ??? Obviously someone who has never had to do a delivery
I read this thread last night and the change still bloody caught me out today. I spoke to colleagues back at the unit who said the same thing. Every day last week we had a 'huddle' in which we were told the same things over and over about dogs, about age verification, about hi-viz, etc etc etc but no mention of this operational change.
The machine stops.

If you have a few items you put them on the floor they sign then start taking them in before you have time for a picture

The change makes sense but F*****G tell us it's happening don't hang us out to dry having to re knock on the door to now photo an opened parcel.
We were told over a week ago by our DOM.

Apparently it was due to the company listening to feedback from posties. which explains why everyone I've spoken to hates the change :chuckle
Personally I preferrred the old photo then sign method but a lot of posties were handing over the parcels after the photo cos they didn't realise they needed the signature. If only there was a big black dot or something come up on the pda to warn them.....
