I wonder if CWU will drop the wages for special new starts like yourself in line with the rest of the country..Smoothbackground wrote: ↑20 Jun 2025, 19:44Martin has been sighted somewhere in the vicinity of RMC. Rumour has it that he will pop in over the weekend and make one of his ad-hoc announcement posts giving a full and comprehensive update on the ground-breaking — and back-breaking — negotiations. Just a rumour, so some or all of this might or might not be true…

Re: Missing Persons Alert
As an ex employee of the business it is of no concern to you. You’re not a member of staff anymore. As I think I advised you previously (remember, when you were CarryingMgmnt), you immediately need to return that RM uniform you’ve been seen wearing - daily - in your local town. Impersonating a postie is a serious thing, you know. Taking a Royal Mail bag to the supermarket to carry your shopping home in is, well, just sad. People are starting to talk. You should hear what your ex colleagues at your old DO (or was it really the MC?!!) are saying about you and your antics.
Anyway, deep down I reckon you’re just bitter about the whole thing. Your only route back in is to be a “special new start” like me and the other 20,000-odd new-entrants. Problem is, you couldn’t even hack it when on the old contract, and they’d chew you up and spit you out within a week were you to return and be expected to work to new-entrant efficiency standards!
