The Labour fans seem very quiet on here :hmmmm
I suppose those who bought into the Starmer New Socialist Utopia crap are feeling more than a little let-down.
Fourteen years in Opposition to think and plan, and they haven't got a clue, as the last five months have proved.
Hopefully some of them now realise the UniParty is real, the big parties are bought and paid for by the rich.
The Starmer administration has already echoed the immortal "There is No Alternative" - an antidemocratic statement that should trigger (different) riots.

Having triumphed over fascism and then socialism, liberal democracy is instead on the way to joining them on the ash-heap. When all the ideologies of modernity have debased themselves the only way forward will be back back backwards: the futurists will roll in their graves when the 19th Century is re-embraced.
The machine stops.

What has the last five months proved? Do you ever think about or notice how biased much of our media (particularly print media) is, and how different their coverage of Labour is vs how they covered the Conservatives?

True, but the sheep were clinging on to the hope that we'd all be in some sort of political paradise if only that nice Mr Starmer was elected.
Frying pans and even hotter fires spring to mind.

Looking at the last few months without the constant twisted bitterness and double standards from the Mail, Telegraph, Express, etc, what exactly has been so bad?

Genuinely keen to have a sensible discussion and am open to everyone’s opinions. Im not saying i love Starmer and all that he has done, but i just wish the print media in particular would give him a chance.

Agreed. They are all scummy one way or another but the Tories have absolutely decimated this country over the last 14 years

+1.
At least they're trying to change things.
What was the alternative?- the Tories literally spent the last 5 years arguing between themselves and filling their own and donors pockets.
The country in this mess now precisely because they let literally everything slide into chaos and decline.
I don't agree with some things they've done but I get the logic even of things I disagree with.
Give Labour a chance at least to turn things around.

USA: GOP, Democrats, GOP, GOP, Democrat, GOP, Democrat, Democrat, GOP, Democrat/. Same over here, only 2 parties ever get in, they all sing from the same hymn sheet, two sides of the same coin, they give the illusion of opposition, Starmer is in bed with the WEF, same thing with Sunak. It will never change as long as it's Tory and Labour only ever getting in. If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal! Eton bloody rifles!

You get the logic of "Freebiegate"? Removal of Winter Fuel allowance? Farmer's Inheritance tax changes? Ever more illegals entering the country? Punitive and growth-restricting budget? Planned building on Green Belt land? Everything and anything Ed Millibrain says?

Freebiegate?- big deal.
My MIL got the winter fuel allowance although she didn't need it, doesn't qualify for any benefits. Those that need it are now claiming more than before, so there's logic in that.
You obviously missed the 13k immigrants that have been returned in last 5 months.
Farmers? Contentious I agree, but at the end of the day it was to stop people buying up estates to avoid tax so something needed doing.
Could mention the ridiculous £200 limit the Tories introduced that basically gave shoplifters a free go whenever they wanted- taken away. This alone is a symptom of society gone wrong and needed stamping out.
NHS, don't let's go there.
Everyone on strike because the last lot refused to talk to unions.
But, you know, we could have let everything just carry on into decline.
Name me one thing, just one, that made your life better under the Tories.

Just read the article in the guardian about the sale, it confirms that the CWU clowns stuffing members money into Labour did absolutely nothing to prevent this take over and also the FACT the CWU told Royal Mail to spend the surplus in pension money on Royal mail says it all about the CWU. Why on earth posties give this sorry excuse for a union their money is beyond belief. Ask yourself what has the CWU actually done for posites in Dave Wards time that actually made the job better? They actively encourage Royal Mail to make our jobs worse. Stop wasting your money on these clowns.
