It isn’t a £500 bonus,now the maximum is £475 as nationally the company failed the 1st week, so they should stop quoting the £500 figure.

There will be more pressure on COMs to improve delivery performance and therefore more pressure on us. However, I'm not sure what is in the new entrants contracts but mine states that overtime is NOT compulsory.

Judging by the reactions on here RM have got exactly what they wanted, us fighting against each other with people blaming everyone and anyone except the people who should really be getting it in the neck.... RM.
You all must realise that now that we have all jumped on board with this incentive, we will be the scapegoats if we fail to deliver xmas.
"We did all we could and even offered them £500 to go above and beyond" will be the companies excuse as they brand us lazy and overpaid.

My out there theory is they’ve introduced this scheme so they can blame us when Christmas goes badly wrong. ‘Well we put everything in place and even offered our team a very generous bonus but they just didn’t rise to the challenge, so yep sorry about that, you’ll get your stuff in January. In previous years they’ve been able to blame COVID, managers not hiring vans, strikes. This year it’s our fault for just not reaching high enough for those stars.

I would tread carefully with this incentive scheme (scam). People that are willing to go that extra mile and complete there delivery without incurring any overtime have to be careful.

After Xmas the folk that want to cut off might not be able to because they completed there walk without any issues during Xmas. See the big picture for what it's worth, and it's not worth the paper that it's written on. Management will use any thing against you, in the near future i.e traffic figures pda actuals. I am very skeptical about the whole bonus scheme. Even if we do tick all the right boxes week in, week out, how much do you think management will get?
