Schick Pock Row - no longer there, but you can guess what it was always called

Also Ralphs Wifes Lane - said to have been named after the widow of a trawlerman who walked to the sea each day along its length in the belief that her husband would eventually return - he didn't and she died.

Tinklers Barracks - a row of houses by the canal - also no longer there - but Hoggs Lane is.

And don't forget there's a place called "TWATT" in the Shetland Islands.
