asked about it today....
was shown the forms (behind the managers desk) and told i just need to fill in how many hours i do over my contracted hours each day...

only one problem... my name isnt on the sheets yet.... monday is the start of my 4th week

well then, you just ADD your name to it - and how many hours overtime you've did

dont worry that your going to slow,it takes us all different times to get in the grove.it took me 2 months before i finished on time.my first week i didnt finish till 4pm.now i dont ever finish after 1pm.and i dont rush it just sorta clicks.i cycle to every door i can i walk over their gardens(if ever anyone asks me not to i wouldn't)instead of up and down each path.nobody seems too mind for the postman.

though one woman did come out to my friend and said"do you mind i used to be a civil servant and i dont want you walking across my grass"........well there's always one

Hang on you dont rush trampling all over someones garden instead of using the path

i don't trample over gardens as i said,what i meant was i walk on grass..and believe me i don't rush.but cycling up to doors uses less energy than stopping at drive way getting off trying to find a place to stand up the bike cos the stand is more than three weeks old and so has spread out l{sexist comment deleted - by Moderator }.walk up to door walk back mount up or pick the bike off the ground more often than not......im all for energy conservation

Yep make sure you filled in the overtime form, your line managers should of told you about this, I only been at royal mail for 3 months now, and it been so hectic in our office, that the overtime form is in constant used, you should try and find out if you can get paid for all those extra hours you done
