hey dont get me wrong im not asking for an easy time...disgruntledpostie1 wrote:Why should those posties with many years of service be penalised just because those new starts want an easy job, we've all done the crappy walks at the beginning and have thought we'll never get finished. im not asking for a job that i dont break a sweat doing.
fair enough everyone has the periods of being dropped in the deep end.
and yeah maybe the most experienced guys tht have the easiest walks have those walks because they are so experienced.
iv started to get oast the sink or swim feeling but im still getting stressed about going on walks... not because i cant do the job... but pecause its takig me longer than everyone else to tie down my frame... because im getting complaints from customers in certain streets because she didnt get her giro on the wednesday and so she has everyone of her neighbours go on at me "do you have anything for no. whatever, its just her giro" and then its bacause its taking me longer than it should and longer than i want it to take.
oh i should add i hate the fact that the days when you get loads of packets and packages because you can pretty much guarantee that the person that they are from will not be in... then you have to stand and write a shut notice (P739) and then lug that packet about till the end of your walk or till your next bag.... which ever one comes first.
