For absolute God's sake everyone- they paid everyone 200 up front a few months ago.
Call it a bribe to make out they've given you it so you think theyre great and wont strike- they haven't.
Now they've calculated what you have actually earned between the date it was paid and 31st August, and added 2%.
Then taken off the 200 already given.
You then have a plus or minus amount on this weeks pay based on this figure.
Going forward 2% will be added automatically.
If we end up with, say, a 5% rise they'll backpay the difference of 3% to 31st August.
The 200 has NOTHING to do with missing pay for striking
What's so hard to understand???!!
You're banging your head against the wall with some on here. It's not rocket science is it?

So what is this:

“Arrears of unpaid absence -£110.22”
Strike day? Have you not read the post. 8hrs presuming your Friday is 8 hrs plus 1/5 of any allowances.

My payslip this week had so may lines that they had to lump a load of stuff together as “other payments” at the bottom… the figure showing for “other payments” was £304.80 (deduction) … this struck me a being high even for the pay rise “correction” … so I asked for a breakdown of the “other payments” through the people app / hr queries tile and got a detailed breakdown pretty quickly (less than 24 hours ) … turns out they deducted my wages ( unpaid abs) for last Friday’s strike day even though it was my day off !
So I’d definitely advise everyone to ask for a full breakdown of this weeks payslip… especially if you’ve had a load of stuff lumped together as “ other payments “ due to lack of space on the payslip

Yes, I checked with payroll as well and they messed up on mine. Quite convenient really with that rather long list of additions of just over a pound in credit and a rather large deduction at the end that says "other payments"!!

Don't ever take anyones word for it on an Internet forum that your pay will be correct
