Found everyone leaving as I got to the office. All started early, no one told me. I don't do well in the Sun anyway so that was horrible, pushing around a HCT with no shade.

40 mins early. Sat around waiting for vans.
Delivering started at 9.20.
Got back 12.30.
Sent back out with tracked and specials as others were already going home.
Finish at 13.40.
So much for the early dart.
Thanks bosses at ……… office.

You shouldn't be out!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

5.30 start, had to be back by 12, all sorted by early ips docket kings. whole office waiting for a hour for next lorry. bought some back as didn't go out on saturday. Com said as long as tracked and specials are done its alright to bring letters back. same tomorrow, will be fun as the mail is later arriving.

I started early, out at 7:30, back by 11:30 plus absorbtion.

We have been told that up to 35c is ok, then we have to stop.

no idea where that came from.

Tomorrow we have a later lorry 7am and its supposed to be hotter here.

Can someone check on the 35c rule please ?

Thanks.

How many offices have been told to start early today?
Between 1- 2 hours early!
We have but it’s pretty pointless as nothing turned up until 615!
We went and got ours from the mail centre

We were told at 7.15 to just take tracked out, no walking and you must all be back for 12. Done for 11.10, it will be the same tomorrow :nana
But we don't give tracked items priority...
