It's amazingly coincidental that we are now a 250 company at the exact moment the pay talks break down.shares are about confidence and give doom and gloom news out and hey presto we get relegated and were struggling so can't pay you a descent increase.its done completely on purpose and we all know it.we made profit of X amount.but were really struggling...whatever...

This one is realy annoying me. I have been investing directly into shares of various companys for most of my adult life. I never blame the workforce for these sorts of problems. I am not going to type my thoughts on simons excuses because it is beneath me.

The blame for the absolutely calamitous revisions goes to those at the top. So many mail centres disrupted, so many mail centres with no revision at all. Wasn't a huge amount of investment lost because there was a failure to get these in before Xmas?

Can't speak for the whole country myself, but our depot has been understaffed for 2 years. Maybe get 1 easy day every 5 months. The rest of the time the round isn't completable in time as we have a tonne of letters and parcels to deliver.

If you really want us to be a parcel company then go for it. It sounds like you don't want to be delivering letters at all, so why don't we stop delivering letters at some point in the near future? lets go full steam ahead with parcels. It seems like letters are holding us back and we are under the thumb of Ofcom. Most of the letters we deliver are junk mail and bills. Bills can go digital. Junk Mail nobody wants anyway. I think half the mail I deliver each day probably goes straight into the bin.

A good few of what we sort as small parcels are technically large letters. A good example is a typical package containing either a standard sized DVD or blu-ray case

Reading his statement is reads like they are considering changes by executive action. This is going to get messy and I’ve no doubt he is on borrowed time. I’ll give it 6 months before he’s replaced. I understand he’s just the spokesman and those behind the scenes are the ones pulling the strings but he has the title of CEO so he’ll be the first to go no doubt followed by a few other millionaires sorry “directors”

No it will mean that all overtime payments will be closely monitored and we will be pressured to complete without booking overtime
