Cuts straight to the heart of the issue Andy. A false victory for Al and AD ,not an accountant in the land who can quantify the loss of goodwill, and it sure has gone, big timeandy2007 wrote:We already pay them big Bonuses for wrecking RM. He likes to portray himself as one of the boys but I think he's laying it on too thick with all this Mockney/Estuary English , don't think he picked it up at his Public School in Hereford somehow .
There's absolutely no charm about him or any redeeming features but most of these "personalty " "captains of industry "types like O'Leary from Ryan Air etc who go for all this self publicity are horrible people .
I don't know why people use cameras to photograph him and capture his "personalty " , I'd have thought a Endoscope would be more appropriate ?
WA***R!

Leighton's like one of those tossers on "The Apprentice", living, breathing, proof, that our country, our very lives, are being screwed by half-wits like
him. People, like Leighton, climb the corporate ladder with almost effortless ease, once at the summit of the corporate mountain of shite, they cling for
dear life, unless the "old boy network" gets into gear, and the incompetents just move on to the next very lucrative post. It doesn't matter if they turn
the world upside down, it doesn't matter if the people, millions of people, all end up with the shite end of the stick, it doesn't matter if the business
they've goose stepped into becomes a pale shadow of what it was just a few short years before their inneptitude was foisted on it, it doesn't matter, not
to people like them it don't.
What an absolute shambles is corporate Britain today. The catalogue of private enterprise disasters just grows and grows. Northern Rock, a bank that
nearly, and should have, went to the wall. That now, the British people cannot have any confidence in any banking institution in this country anymore,
because of the calibre of clown that inhabits the boardrooms of what were once icons of probity. The world famous fiasco that is Terminal5, an utter
shambles that was years in the making, where on the day of the grand opening, executives were treating themselves to champagne and nibbles,
slapping each other on the back, whilst meanwhile, in the brand new terminal, chaos was the order of the day, passengers in horrendous cues, baggage
either being sent to a destination other than where the owner was going, or just simply disappearing, and mainly thanks to that gormless corporate
panacea for all ills, new technology. The railways, now in the hands of privateers, ludicrously expensive, unreliable, and having billions of pounds of
our money being thrown at them.
I'm just waiting for the most embarrasing, excruciating, corporate disaster to come, the 2012 olympics.
Unless, there's a socialist revolution and most of Britain's corporate pygmies are shot out of hand, there'll be a few more corporate inspired disasters
between now and 2012, and one way or another, they'll have an impact on each and every one of us, and not for the better, either.
