Forget the changes at the top. This company is changing rapidly over the last couple of months. Everything that is happening in Royal Mail is driving our job to the wall. Forced revisions, bad planning, lack of resources and everlasting penny pinching, total disregard of staff well being as well as lying to the paying customers. Service quality very poor.

This is deliberate action to keep the share price inflated. I think someone with with large stake in the company may be looking to cash in soon. Simon and top directors must own shares worth multiple annual salaries of a regular full time postie. Super dividend must cash them in thousands of pounds. I can't see anything positive at the moment apart from share price and upcoming dividend. Absolutely everything is pointing at the extreme saving measurers putting huge pressure on the staff trying to earn a living and do the job they used to enjoy.

These guys who are leaving the business, or most likely were told to leave will be paid golden goodbye, Royal Mail need the scapegoats.

You are right the process started as soon as the company become private equity. Unfortunately the process has accelerated recently. I doubt I'll be in RM in 2years time but anything is possible. Unfortunately the way company is going at the moment has full backing by our union leaders so I guess there no hope for us.

Watch the purge from the top of the company down start from here. I bet senior managers will be squabbling over their jobs and then the bullying will filter down to the front line. This is a new era and I expect further big change is coming. Sit tight and let's watch this all unfold.

It's still job and finish but now you have to work 10hr days to finish the duty
