My new rural duty had a combo allocated to it I refused to drive it as it would play my back up so I just took my old partner van on the new duty

Being 6 ft 2" they are an absolute pain
During this horrendous spell off parcels and getting in and out of the van a rediculous amount of times each day it has caused me to have a shooting pain go down my leg to my knee and bloody painful

I really struggle with them. The handful we have here are from the workshop and are very unreliable. I’ll never understand why they assign these vans to people on rural covering 50 miles, having to get in and out 250 times a day, instead of rounds closer to the office covering 5 miles ‘only’ in and out 50 times.
The day is gonna come when we’re all gonna have to testify.

50 times? Got to be more than that for most surely, particularly now.

At least the old combos had a bit of poke about them, compared with the asthmatic bippers.
Not allowed poke with Trimble's lol

The one i drive is like a clown car bits just fall off,The doors fell off its hinges 3 times and the entire back bumper fell off the other week so our crack team of mechanics have riveted it back on,They've obviously moved on from using cable ties.
Probably got the message to cut down on plastic use .
