Survey results are always a joke and by their actions we all know RM don't trust us posties.
The survey process is in no way confidential and data leaks like a sieve to higher management in RM. Therefore if you don't mind RM knowing what you personally think about 'trust' in RM continue to fill in the surveys. If on the other hand you are worried about any potential consequences it is best to not fill it in.
About halfway into this years survey time period our DOM was contacted by his manager and quizzed as to why no one in our DO had filled in the survey and if our DOM was promoting completing the survey. After one of us completed the survey our DOM was then hassled by the manager about only one reply to the survey. Mid level management should not have this kind of access to survey data after the survey has ended and certainly not while the survey is still ongoing. Combine this with the identity questions at the end of the survey and it proves there is little confidentiality in the process.

Even in our DO which is run better than most we get little follow up or action on survey results so there is not much point in completing the survey. Our DOM managed to get ten surveys completed in the end which means we, or the DOM, will get some kind of results back. Decisions and changes come from above though so we have little say generally in RM.

And the survey says..............
Royal mail are great and they have misrepresented the figures into impressive looking percentages to again ‘look’ good and then they will get a broom and sweep everything under the carpet. Same old story

Simon Thompson : Earnings Call Transcript

the one to really focus on today is how proud the team feel to be working for Royal Mail. They feel as proud as I feel. It's a wonderful set of statistics. I would just like to say a big thank you to team Unite and also team CWU who have been supporting us brilliantly on this particular agenda. Thank you.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
