Does the clown realise that WE deliver a lot of Amazons stuff and the average customer seeing 'Amazon' on the parcels will think its Amazon that delivered it?

Know what you mean 2YR. I still wait on the doorstep, for a resonable time, to see if anyone answers.... they normally do .... I know my customers. I'll always make a point of saying, "Looks like I work for Amazon now .... Glad I haven't got to put up with their Crap Terms & Conditions"! Quite a few are now aware that we deliver the Prime products. And I always like to point out that we get the Prime products to deliver because they're incapable of fulfilling their own promises!

Mr. Landon appears to be completely out of touch. Amazon`s public perception is based on advertising, and we can`t be compared to them as we are not carrying out a like-for-like operation. He needs to visit a small DO and see what restrictions we are all working under.

D2Ds are environmentally unsound, customers don`t want them, we don`t want to be paid peanuts to deliver them. My walk has 3 of them this week, some of my colleagues have 5! Factor in prepping time, and hauling heavy bags up long drives just to deliver the D2D items to addresses with no other post.Ditch them and we might have some hope of being "on time".

Trolleys are few and far between, plus some of the drives need mountaineering gear! In those cases, trolleys would slow us down. The point is that it`s a lot of effort for little reward.

I've started typing my answer a few times and then deleted it as it might come across a bit strong, so I'll leave it. But one thing I will say is that statements such as the one above demanding we do more is one way to rub up the vast majority of RM employees the wrong way. The people at the top are totally clueless.

A couple of points just who are these RM TV updates for as in the last year in Greenford MC we haven't had a single Work TIme Listening and Learning Session (according to management because of the need to maintain social distancing not because there is so much work there just isn't time to stop and ask questions for a half hour a week )
The fact upper management look at surveys like this and their first reaction is "Lazy B******* need to work a bit harder" tells you all you know about their attitude to their work force. The work load for tracked packets where I work has tripled in the past year the number of posties in the work area is the same as last year now the isolating have returned to work. Would imagine all packets have increased but to be fair the volume of letters is falling but to balance that out Door To Doors are increasing.
As for the time slots regarding tracking of items it would help if the PDA's weren't the complete piece of garbage totally unfit for purpose that they are. Yet to complete a shift without either the Battery failing the PDA crashing or it just randomly deciding to lose the figures. God knows how those out of Delivery cope because it's not like there's charging points in the vans
