I think " Sid " as in " Tell Sid " from the British Gas Ad's would be swinging from a lampost these days . All that bo***cks about everyone a capitalist and a owner's democracy . It was a illusion , it was the Tories mates in the city ; that coined it in .

Well thats true but its been like that through scores of governments. Some come in with grand ideas then discover its not them running the country at all. Never likely to be either.

That's true. Scargill was just as diseased as Thatcher. Both fighting for dogma, both thinking they were the 20th century version of Henry V, both with followers who (still) think they were almost god-like, and both utterly useless for the long-term good.

Still, squeak the rallying cry "this is a class war" and watch those sheep fall into line no matter what colour flag they follow....

 right or wrong at least Scargill. Mgahey? and other leaders of old still fought from the front, and most people
still recognise their names--how many folks outside R/M know about Billy Hayes?

Don't be silly, everyone knows him for the voice-over of Chef in South Park, and his earlier work on the film score for "Shaft" back in the early 1970s. :whistle

[Sigh]

And you, oh faithful Agent, would no doubt be a double for Tweek Tweak.

Now, any chance of raising your game above the level of the average junior school kid?

Call it whatever you like. You may as well, as it's meaningless to me although good old Links apparently sees something in it. :hmmmm.
