Told today if you haven't got time to write the 739 out don't bother for first time deliveries, what's all that about?
Excellent! Waste of time and paper. Hope we get told that 😁
Massive pain in the arse if the customer goes to the CSP looking for it, though. Assuming it was filled-in correctly in the first place, it's handy to have a piece of paper for the Day 1 item you will have to desperately search for.
They can’t collect it themselves on the first day of missed delivery though?

Well they couldn't at ours because it isn't open by the time we go out on delivery but it doesn't stop them coming to the office with the 739

They still can’t collect it. Unless you work in a small office. Otherwise the Caller’s Office person won’t go hunting for a parcel in a large office.

Yes smallish office hence the limited callers office hours, we have people turn up before they head to work trying to get their parcels before we've even tied up 😀

Oh okay that’s different. In ours, a person wouldn’t be able to collect their item until the second missed attempt because then it would be sitting in the Caller’s Office.

An absolutely brutal week.

Hoping that packets might ease a bit now Black Friday etc is over, but cards are really picking up.

There will be another surge in packets over the next few days with the Cyber Monday sales.

Cards certainly have picked up over the last couple of days, starting to get the odd tray per CSS batch that's nearly all Xmas cards.

Yeah, callrates are ramping up with cards coming in. 45% came in and out went a single loop at 96%
Any Questions?
Yeah, how do I get out of this chickenshit outfit?

Any reason your walk wasn’t cleared on Monday, err maybe because it was my rest day on Friday/sat and on Saturday and the walk didn’t go out.
Any reason the packets I brought back Thursday I delivered the second attempt on Monday? Silence 😆
Yeah but why didn’t the letters get delivered :arrrghhh :arrrghhh :arrrghhh

Not too bad really, 8 double loops completed on one side, plus bulk and remaining 3 loops tracked only. :Applause :Applause

Tracked only on the other side, which means 11 double loops tomorrow.

I really hope all our hard efforts are not blown out of the water with 350 tracked parcels tomorrow and no loops going out.

We've somehow just got to maintain the status quo for now.

How about the rest of you ?

We're up to decuple loops. Only 1 person in the whole office doing them. Apparently loads of Parcelforce coming in to do loops. Must have nothing to do given that we are doing all their parcels. :left:

Several senior managers in the office today. There must be a shortage of bags because I didn't see them take any loops.

I don't think I have seen such an unhappy and demotivated workforce.

If they want a successful Christmas then they need to provide adequate resources.
Insufficient resources will lead to failures.
No amount of tacky badges, no amount of useless prizes, no pep talks, no guilt tripping and no being spoken to like we are at primary school will make up for the resources to deliver Christmas.
Christmas is supposed to be a joyful time. It is unending drudgery.
More Blacks.
More Dogs.
More Irish.
Less chocolate.
