Every. Single. Clubcard. Letter. Upside. Down. :evil/mad

OCR still exists, right? This seems like a problem a machine from decades ago could solve.
Any Questions?
Yeah, how do I get out of this chickenshit outfit?

Probably run through the machines upside down so that they run through the machine better and don't cause so many jams. Sometimes letters will run through the machines much better upside down. Once a letter has gone through upside down it has to stay upside down or the CSS machines will reject it as they won't be able to find the orange barcodes where they expect to find them.

They’re changing the horrible white things to a new equally horrible design. Different material and a bit lower so us not tall people can see to push.

Very very wet.... Got back to a redesign of office layout, realignment of frames... More space they said, more room for Yorks for van shares (next to frames) they said, better Health and Safety down aisles (re van shares and Yorks) they said. Only one van share side by side (out of about 10) Several van shares split between completely different aisles. No space between frames for said Yorks. The van shares were supposed to be in pairs opposite each other. One frame seemingly disappeared into the abyss somewhere and several were disrupted for no apparent reason???? :arrrghhh :evil/mad :cuppa So glad I was not in today. :thumbup

Ridiculous really. Completed a double on one frame, 3 loops plus 1c plus tracked and bulk on the other frame
Then just started 5 boxes of d2d leaflets when I got back.

We can't complete the work we have now, so why does no-one think about these d2d leaflets ?

I don’t understand why they don’t care about them as much anymore? It’s a financial stream the competition do not have access to and they are just letting it fall away.

I have not posted a letter since Wednesday  Thursday, Friday & Saturday sequence & anything else that turns up left on the floor in boxes, tracked & collections only, 1st class mail left out the frame, disappeared when we get back?

You know that Quality of Service they are striving to improve? I think they are working to a different definition.

It's become impossible to fit a loop in a single bag. Well, it might if it didn't sit in the frame for a week. In the absence of pouch boxes I had to resort to an old trick taught to me by a line manager from the days before bag drops: shove it in the pillar box. Perhaps not quite aboveboard, but needs must.

And for anyone frothing at the mouth that I didn't stand there for 20 minutes waiting for the van to come back; calm yourself, I didn't complete anyway.
