See, this bit of info wasn’t passed on to the ‘team’ at my depot, one of the rounds I sometimes cover has a prison and I was wondering what the process was. Likewise with receptions/concierge.

Fantastic news and a massive thank you to everyone for embracing this innovation so fast. Our customers love it.

So if we hit camera failure do we get directed to the usual signature screen, if not, how do we record the receivers name? Plus do prison wardens ever give out their names, I usually just record the name of the prison I've delivered it to.

I doubt any of my customers “love it” I’m forever taking photos of houses down the road or a random pavement…

Never loads when I want it too and it’s a little wild to ask them to stay at their doors in the cold until it re-boots. Also no chance in the rain!

Capture Photo on Delivery – we welcome M&S on board

Thank you to all our delivery teams for the fantastic deployment of Capture Photo on Delivery - we have now delivered more than one million items where a photo was required.

After a successful launch with Boohoo and all its associated brands, we are delighted to confirm that Marks & Spencer will start using the service within the next few days, and more customers may follow in the forthcoming weeks – keep an eye out for more information.

Capture Photo on Delivery is a great new service that our customers have been asking for. It brings us into line with many of our competitors, including Parcelforce, and will help both our customers and Royal Mail to significantly reduce denial of receipt complaints.

Thank you for all your great work so far – and please keep focusing on getting compliant photos, taken with the door open on the doorstep, and keeping in mind that not all labels may have Capture Photo flagged on them.

From the 6th December some of Marks and Spencer’s traffic will be enabled to allow Capture Photo on Delivery.
They use the same fulfilment chain as Boohoo, so not all the labels will have Photo capture on them.

If you follow the correct rules for Safeplace and only use it if it is stated on the label or comes up as an in-flight instruction then Safeplace can still be used.

Last weeks performance results for CPOD against operational compliance was 99.22%, our target is to hit 99%. Well done everyone, however we are not consistent on hitting that measure everyday and this is the reason why.

We have photographs taken by our front line which do not deliver the specification of a clear photograph of a CPOD item with the door open. These photo's impact on the overall "Operational Compliance" Here are a few examples of non compliant photo's:

To be fair, the bottom right picture does meet the 'a clear photograph of a CPOD item with the door open;' criteria. It is just not a house front door

That scenario in the bottom right photo is interesting. Imagine someone leaving their house in their car, maybe running late. You're going to have to ask them to get out and open their front door, just so you can take the picture. Yeah, I'm really looking forward to when that happens!

Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

It pissed down today, PDA was s**t and taking ages to respond. Posted a few without noticing the 'p' on the screen through all the raindrops. And pissed off one customer who got fed up holding the door open in the pissing rain while I faffed with the PDA. And a near miss when a dog nearly got out!

Hope my compliance standard is low enough to get a slap on the legs, it may get my circulation going.

I had a customer who was going to work drive round the cul de sac to find me, what option do you have bar taking the picture in the car ?

The correct procure would be to ask them to go back to their house so u can deliver the parcel. In reality safeplace and a picture of it in their car is what I would do, that assumes u know them.
