Just a few points Chunk

1,D2D is to be uncapped not capped at 6
2,6 D2D will in theory double weight of current D2D workload but not overall weight on delivery
3,I know the document has been withdrawn(

)but RM plans were(are) for D2D to be prepped after all other mail

We dont have to live in fear of this agreement but we have to be very wary and be prepared to question and make stands against Doms riding roughshot over the agreements words and spirit.

Agreed! double the weight of d2d was all i meant. Anybody like to estimate the weight of 3000 leaflets?or know the weight of the 1500 we do now.

will part timers get pro rata on the £20.00 and yet still deliver the same d2d as the full timers?
does a five day week'r have to do 20% d2d a day(600 items)?
I got more questions than RM got answers.

D2D money will cease so there is no 'pro-rata issue'. The 20quid is a delivery supplement and is pro-rata.

D2D will be delivered over 6 days so a 5 day (FT or PT) a weeker will do 83.333r % pw or 16.6 % per day.

Yes £20.60 will be paid pro-rata and some PT will deliver more d2d than some FT

A 5 day weeker will do 16.66% a day d2d and a 4 day weeker will also do 16.66% a day

As float will do rest whether 1 day or 2 day float

Some of the 'loops' georoute has spewed out are over 1200 drops down here. A bit more than 83...

What i think we all got to realise is that according to the Way forward agreemet it is up to the individual walkholders to manage the d2d workload not up to RM to dictate 20% or 1/6 per day. If you did i item of d2d each day (100% call rate) that would add about 15mins to 20 mins on the average 3.5hr walk span filling out some time in your whole duty that would have been left vaccant from a fall in indoor workload. 100% call rate would also cover the specific date event items as you would be planning on 1 item per delivery address anyway.
Dont fall for the 20% crap fill your time out what more can they do then ask you to call at all your delivery points. Apart from asking you to call at some one elses if you have the time ................................................................................

100% call rate adds 15mins to a 3.5hr delivery?????????/ Where did u get that from? If the delivery is usually 60%call rate it will be more like 1 and 1/2hrs longer. And that is just on the delivery side. You can add 15mins just to prep them all in - longer if the frame is stuffed already and you have doubled up slots.

Our office had a pegasus revison with a 82% call rate. I was only talking delivery span and was generalising as each office/walk will have its individual specific time spans. So both of us are right. Yes indoor work load will increase and that has to be factored in as well.

The meeting was days ago considering this is a communication company why does it take so long to find anything out about our jobs. If it has been agreed then tell us if it hasn't then tell us but i just wish that we would be told something?

If you have a 60% call rate on a 3.5hr del then you should get more outdoor anyway - bet he is looking forward to summer lapsing
