RMCtv : Emergency Government Antiviral Posting (England) : 2 briefs, one for processing and one for deliveries

Deployment Manager

Emergency Government Antiviral Posting (England)

We have just released 2 briefs, one for processing and one for deliveries, available from your line manager that detail an emergency government antiviral posting for England.

Headline details:
  • Expect an increase in purple PCR test kits for delivery starting from tomorrow night into Wednesday that will run up to and including 31st December.
  • Some of the these kits will be specifically for the vulnerable as have been targeted for the posting as they may benefit from new additional antiviral treatment if they test positive for CV19
  • However, we do not expect these completed PCRs to produce significantly high return volumes as any returns will be staggered over a period of time.
You won't be able to tell the difference and that's deliberate; you'll just see an increase in PCR volume for delivery.

If you don't work in England, please give the briefs a read as if you share any borders with England you may see an increase attributed to these kits. There's also the wider point that we are seeing a surge in volumes in general due to Omicron, unrelated to the antiviral posting

Please refer to the briefs for more details- thanks all

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Loads more completed PCR tests posted in normal non-priority boxes, then.

Can we just leave them there?

So bloody ignorant for someone to ignore clear intructions on their test.

Are these briefs for delivery going to waterproof and tie at the knee like plus fours ? Asking for a friend.
