What are some of you doing now that you may have retired? im due in a few years just wondered if its a feeling of being released or very strange like you feel youre of no use like some people say?

just finished up at the weekend . 30 years in the job, feels great to gone seeing how bad things are.

Just like a lot of things in life, there are trade offs. You miss little bits of things about the job, but when you look out the window in the morning and it’s sheeting it down, you can afford yourself a wry smile.

Retirement should be a moment to fully enjoy life. It's only because people are forced to work so long that it becomes this grey area in people's minds.

I retired 4 weeks ago after41 years and overall I feel great
