Amazon parcel problems

Has anyone been having problems with Amazon parcels? Mainly heavy items like 24 packs of cans, bottles etc packed in oversized flimsy boxes. We've had a huge increase in these types of parcels at our depot and they are causing a few problems and a couple of wrist injuries. What type of risk assessment do royal mail do for parcels?

It's been like that for a long time. Sometimes we'll go to pick one up and the contents immediately fall out the bottom.

The big increase will have been due to the Amazon Prime Day a few days ago.

I am sick of it too.The problem is the recycled cardboard.I mean its all very well using it but they need to double it up or put less in it.I picked one up the other day and the contents of 24 cans of fanta fell on my ankle and foot.

The problem is the tape, I find. One small weakness in the tape and the whole box falls apart

Bleach all over the shop floor this morning courtesy of Amazon's fine packing. Hazardous materials need to be doubly contained to prevent spillage. The only thing their garbage boxes are saving is money, not the environment.

A few weeks back I wasn't too chuffed to find whatever was leaking from a packet in one of the yorks had started to eat my watch strap.
