Yes, they seem to get about £40 (not sure exactly) extra each week for doing absolutely nothing

The workplace Coach role is needed to help with the major changes the CWU have just agreed. If you feel you can help and would like to, apply. The position is paid and is resourced.

My biggest bugbear this subject. Some “Workplace coaches” in our office haven’t actually trained anybody for years. Of the ones which do,they just get given the new starter for a couple of days. Then the new starter is quickly moved on and the regular posty they are put with has to show them how the job is “really” done. One of our “workplace coaches” is actually a non-driver!! Babysitting we call it. As for DPR training, workplace coaches are not even used for that, just the regular drivers get given someone, although you can refuse to do it.
I can’t believe Royal Mail haven’t looked at the situation themselves. Shelling out thousands a week for nothing!!!! 🤷‍♂️

You train new starters, you also go around with a clipboard doing managers work getting people to sign for stuff.

I think it's supposed to be advertised on success factors so it's an official application for an internal position but I'd assume after interviewing the potential candidates the favourite bum licker will be successful. :no no

If you like meeting new people, this is the role for you. Then when they leave after a week you can meet another new person. Every week, until you also pack it in!
Any Questions?
Yeah, how do I get out of this chickenshit outfit?
