You'll get what your given and be grateful.

Expect an extension to the talks.
After all, I can’t imagine there can be any movement until after the commons select committee pantomime

That would be ridiculous as these talks are already an extension on the extension of the previous talks. But this is the CWU so you will probably be correct. More biscuits for Dave and Martin while we all sit in limbo.

Lots of rumours around that they are close....but it seems like 6 into 8 is all RM will accept if they go with the heavy and light version of reform. Seems very similar to 3 into 4 to me but I'm sure it will be spun as a win.

Jessica, I was thinking about heavy and light the other day, but surely after the 1st day (light), everyday after will be heavy and onwards ? So it becomes heavy and heavy ? :hmmmm

If you do some very basic maths, like divide each number by 2, (the lowest common denominator) then 6 into 8 looks very much like 3 into 4.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

It would be absolutely incredible if after all this the union come out saying 6 into 8 is better than 3 into 4. I’ll put nothing past these con artists running the show though so let’s see what happens this month. Hey maybe Chris Webb could update us via video as we haven’t seen him in a while…….

6 into 8 is the same as 3 into 4. It will be heavy and heavy model.

I think it would actually be worse than the ODM that Royal Mail want. ODM you cover your current delivery with double mail. 6 into 8 you will be having a van share do double mail on half and first class+packets on other half THEN just over two rows of another duty between you. Honestly I’d rather just do double mail on my delivery now, and my delivery is s**t and already can’t be done on time most days.
