People get paid to invent these meetings.
People get paid to attend these meetings and make important sounding noises.
People get paid to write up the findings of these meetings.
There might even be a free trip to the Bahamas to discover how their postal service coped during the pandemic.
Someone might end up with a non executive position on the Royal Mail board.
Inventing pointless work is the lifeblood of democracy and very profitable.
