I hear the Boss of RBS got a bonus paid in shares which is apparently a 3 yr plan.
Which means the harder he works to raise the value of the bank the more his bonus is worth..
what a pity Moyas' bonus wasn't linked to the value of our collegue shares,
we could have all been driving to our new further away mail centres in brand new motors lol

Re: Moya greene bonus
The Govt are now stating that Exec bonuses need to be linked closely to company share prices >>>> now unless my maths have been addled by 20+ years that should mean that Moya and Co. should be receiving lump sums than align with .... let me think .... Oh Yes, COLLEAGUE SHARES !!!!!!!!

Re: Moya greene bonus
surprise, surprise royal mail staff are robbed of there bonus on the whim of 1 person who bemoans the losses being made while blaming everyone except where it lies, at the feet of incompetent managers/supervisors who will do anything do pass the buck on to the posties.
if ms greene is so committed to RM then why not forgoe her bonus until the rest of the workforce receieves the shares she decided to adjust to the value of £0.00, YEH FAT CHANCE OF THAT HAPPENING

Re: Moya greene bonus
If Moya's bonus/pay was tied into what RM was actually worth I'd be amazed to see just how quickly the books would change and suddenly the company would worth something again.
I'm waiting until after the next annoucement (if there is one) on what Colleague Shares are worth, it will be a big fat zero again so they dont have to pay out then 6 months later RM will be making millions and worth a small fortune.

If and it's a really big IF we get anything for the shares it will most likely be a token payment and no doubt it would be linked to meeting some target or other!
Union what Union? Do we have a union?

Re: Moya greene bonus
I agree it will be linked to some target they'll dangle the carrot tell us it's due to pay out 2014 or something then nothing will come of it as we haven't hit those targets( or they'll hope we get privatised just before the payout), or they'll just keep playing with the books again to show we're worth bugger all.Judgee wrote:If and it's a really big IF we get anything for the shares it will most likely be a token payment and no doubt it would be linked to meeting some target or other!

Re: Moya greene bonus
Strangely enough I was looking through the original colleague share letter and brochure from Crozier and Leighton and the forecast worth for 2012 was over £5000, which was a reward for our unstinting hard work and bringing about change and what have we got................well nothing. So perhaps because Moya wasn't the author of the scheme she felt she didn't need to honour it...........now if she was to promise even more reward in say 2015......3 years seems to be the optimum for changing tac and then privatisation and ........bingo, new masters and no rewards again.

Re: Moya greene bonus
Remember share values can go up and down as do the moral values of the service/company/business/asset stripping/ponzi scheme it has become.
