Just seen an old colleague of mine who has told me that the 4 day walks at my old office now have a van each because they couldn't get all their walks in one van when they shared!
So now they have more vans (that they also let people take home) and the 4 dayers are finishing (most of the time) before the 5 day duties.
Modernisation = efficiency? I don't think so!

Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun.
And when at last the work is done. Don't sit down, it's time to dig another one

I don't want to name the office for obvious reasons but, from what I can gather, the 4 dayers who have individual vans are coming in early, not using trolley etc. as they can cut corners and have no partner to worry about.billyboy123 wrote:im on a 4 day week duty and aint seen any 5 day week duties coming bk after myself im normaly getting bk to the office between 3.30 to 4 oclock thats after starting at 5 am so i too would like to know what office we are talking about as i find it very hard to believe
