:cuppa Ahhh well.... this is just the start!
We now have the scenario that if it's a YES vote it is all the fault of those B@st*rds in the mail centres who voted it through!!

Let's take a step back and remember that everyone has a vote on all the issues and a hell of a lot of the D.O staff will vote the way that branch tell them.

This is on top of the ones who will always vote against the possiblity of strike action and the guys on here who aren't even in the union who shout the loudest about how we should use our voices! (And that's not a dig at steven100)
so let's not just pin all the blame on the mail centre staff and have a proper grown up look at what the outcome will mean to us all!

We still have the scenario of delivery staff who openly admit in their posts about coming in early, using their cars and not taking their breaks but will still blame the MC staff if this goes through! :cuppa
I know you think you know what you think I meant!
But do you really know?

We had a Mail center Guy in,to see if he wanted to transfer,-he could not wait to get back to MC and that was before some of the crap now .like long and shorts
and absorbsion.

Reasonsa to vote no
No pay rise last year,
this year average Postman will take at least a £4.00 a week pay cut.

Unlimited D2D daily including sat,so 100%call rate every day a killer,
Having to keep up with the top 10% A tool designed to sack long term staff.
No time limit on deliveries.
Everything in 2007 is still going to be their.long and shorts, doing other walks and Flexibility

These are facts stated in the agreement, every thing else is open to interpertation, not by us but by RM?

Reasons to vote yes
Its a good deal for the leaders and senior reps of CWU
This agreement is complex according to dingo,Thats why you need it explaining to you why its such a good deal, because the normal Postie will not understand it and may vote the wrong way.

You have no need to understand the agreement or read it ,just vote Yes,trust the CWU AND THEIR BEST MATES RM AND YOU WILL BE FINE.
The CWU leaders know what is best for us ,even when we think otherwise.
I bet a months wages ,Billy and co and senior reps will not be doing deliveies 5 days a week as per these conditions.
In fact cant see many of us doing all this as long term it will kill you.
And if the conditions dont kill you RM will with all the new rules.

Let's get a few things straight Stephen100, shall we?
1) There are far more Delivery Posties, than MC/RDC Posties. So it would be impossible for us to be responsible for this ludicrous deal getting voted in. :d'oh!
2) Although as I'm sure everyone knows, things are far worse in Deliveries. That doesn't alter the fact that this deal would cause a MAJOR degridation in our terms and conditions. So the only gain would be financial. And even that wouldn't be much. Just how stupid do you think we are?
Do you REALLY think we'd sacrifice our working conditions for a pittance? :d'oh! :hmmmm
3) It's ill informed views like yours, which will cause the very divisions that RM are after. The same thing happened after the Way Forward Agreement got in. With MC/RDC Posties blaming Deliveries for it getting in, because there was a perception that they benefitted from it, while we were badly hit.

Have we learned nothing from our discussions on here? :hmmmm
We have the opprotunity to find out the truth about what we all think about this, and what effect it will have on us in the real world. Not just in the opinions of people who don't actually work in a particular section. :arrrghhh :hmmmm :arrrghhh :d'oh!
Don't knock Insanity
it's just another outlook on Reality!

Post made by ProperPostie removed as it contained abuse.

People are starting to use name calling as a debate tactic - sorry not on. I let it slide when we got the 2010 result as tempers and feelings were heated however now we have had time to calm down I will once again enforce the rules more strictly. This counts as a warning to everyone.

If you really think someone is an idiot then "Foe" them, or report them if they break the rules , do not return their abuse as it could get you temporarily banned as well as the instigator.
