Meal break attendance times
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: Meal break attendance times
So on our long days when we regularly go over our 8hr 45 duty span, we should be entitled to book an extra 10 minutes for our break (so long as it's over 9 hours)? I wonder why our DOM hasn't mentioned this?
I'm owed a small fortune!!!

Your DOM would probably say,you work 40hrs per week then you get the average over 5 days, but i'm guessing that he would be wrong.
I would say it's a daily thing!

Who is KyzaSoze? But to hear Kobayashi tell it, anybody could have worked for Soze. You never knew, that was his power. The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. And like that, he's gone.

You're correct, meal breaks are not averaged over the week, they're a daily thing ....... Re: Meal break attendance times
yes your entiteld to do that put it in your docket as meal relief.KyzaSoze wrote:Quite suprising reading that.. cause my manager seems to think us P/T 'ers not entitled to a tea-break. So if you work by your time and finish late are we entitled to add that time on to a docket and get paid for that? Especially if your workin through to finish the job!
