Hourly pay rate for mail sorter??

whats the difference in pay between a mail sorter from an agency & one that works full time at the royal mail sorting office.. im thinking about doing the night shift as this will be more money right?? Anyone know what night shift pays as well?

I don't know about the AG pay, but I've just been taken on for weekend duty at WMC and get £7.98 ph. I imagine the night shift will have a supplement as I am supposed to get a sunday supplement (it only took 5 weeks for them to tell us!) of £40 or so.

From what i know (which aint a lot) those people that are taken on as xmas casuals are only getting minimum wage £5.93 and dont receive shift allowance. is this right ?? can anyone help ??

Tough one as they get their pay from the agency not RM.
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I think the Xmas casuals who are directly recruited and employed by RM (not Agency) do only get minimum wage,
except in London where I understand they get £7.50 ph (or they did last year anyway), and casuals don't get shift allowances.
