ROYAL Mail are making changes to the way they deliver post in Motherwell over the next few weeks – so you could get your post later or :funneh earlier. :left:
Postmen and women will use new delivery methods and adopt revised delivery routes as these changes are introduced on a phased basis.
Every address in Motherwell – households, businesses and other organisations – will be getting a letter about the changes.
Royal Mail’s collections and delivery sector manager, Kevin Barclay said: “The changes to delivery routes will mean a member of our experienced team will still be delivering to our customers in Motherwell.”

“The local delivery team and I are fully committed to providing a high quality of service that is as reliable and friendly as customers have come to expect from Royal Mail in Motherwell over many years.”
Royal Mail say they need to modernise the way they operate and are making changes to keep prices as low as possible.
It all means Royal Mail will continue to :funneh deliver in the morning :left: and for a longer period during the day. :funneh Many customers will continue to get their mail by lunchtime. :left:
The time customers receive mail will depend on where they live on the new delivery route. This may be later or possibly earlier than current delivery times. And when mail volumes vary, delivery arrangements and times may need to change.
A Royal Mail spokesperson added: “The way in which we communicate with each other has changed dramatically. Unfortunately, fewer letters are now posted every day and Royal Mail needs to organise delivery routes to be as efficient as possible. We also deliver more larger items and so we are investing in new equipment to carry these items to customers even more securely. The new equipment also reduces the risk of injury to our postmen and women from carrying heavier mail bags. :funneh These changes will require a period of adjustment :left: for staff. :funneh Royal Mail will do everything possible to maintain a high level of service.” :left:

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
